Now available: Six computer programs to assist you and your track team. These excellent programs are available in three formats: (1) WINDOWS, (2) MS-DOS IBM/compatible, and (3) MACINTOSH. Note: the Windows version must be run on the hard drive and requires at least 10 Megs of free hard drive space for installation. Mac and Dos versions may be run on a floppy disk and require less than 1 Meg of storage space. When ordering, please specify the computer format to be used.
The WINDOWS Statistics, Scorer, & Organizer programs have the ability to save reports in "HTML" format. HTML files may be posted directly to your internet web site or may be emailed to the newspapers, television, or any other interested party.
Program capacities: The WINDOWS and MAC versions of the 'Organizer' and 'Scorer' will handle an unlimited number of track meets. The Dos version of the 'Organizer' and 'Scorer' will handle up to four separate track meets with two sections within each (example; male/female). The Windows and Mac versions of the "Statistics" program will do stats for an unlimited number of teams. Just make a new document file for each team. The Dos version of 'Statistics' will do stats for up to 6 separate teams.
New for 2003: Electronic file transfer. For the Windows version of the Track Meet Organizer.
Now you can have the attending guest schools transfer their rosters and meet entries to you, the host, electronically via floppy disk, email, or download if the guest has a ftp site. Track Meet Organizer automatically merges the rosters and entries files that the guest schools return into the meet data seamlessly. This is slick. No more typing of the rosters and entries by the host school saving much time and effort. And its simple. The host school simply sends each guest school attendee a small program (with provided instructions and help included). Each guest runs this program putting in the school name, their roster of athletes, and their entries in each event. When completed, the guest school returns the created file to the host and the host merges it into his meet file. The original way of entering schools, rosters and entrants is also still available.
